I am Master Mike Bowers, a first-generation direct student of world-renowned Grandmaster Ernesto Presas, Sr., the founder of Modern Arnis de Mano and Modern Mano-Mano (the combined system now known as KOMBATAN).

It is my great honor to be head of the Northwest Kombatan Chapter. I have been inducted into the International Hall of Fame by the World Head of Family Sokeship Council, for Regional Instructor of the Millennium in teaching Kombatan Martial arts. I am cerified by Grandmaster Presas and the Philippine Martial Arts Federation, in the instruction of weapons and empty hand Kombatan.
